During January and February 2005 a period of consultation took place on the first stage of preparing the Core Strategy Development Plan Document through the Issues and Options Paper. As part of the Sustainability Appraisal process for the Core Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD) in November 2004, a Scoping Report was published and consulted upon. To view further information about the Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report for the Core Strategy DPD please click here.
Following the Scoping Report consultation stage the Initial Sustainability Appraisal Report was prepared to assess the Core Strategy DPD in terms of sustainable development. The consultation period closed at 12 noon on Monday 28 February 2005. The Core Strategy Development Plan Document Issues Questionnaire provided an opportunity to comment on the main policy themes within the Core Strategy. If you wish to view the 'Issues Questionnaire' in pdf format please click here. The deadline for this consultation was Monday 28 February 2005.
All responses received to the Core Strategy Issues and Options Paper as well as the Initial Sustainability Appraisal Report for the Core Strategy were reported back to Members of the Borough Council for consideration and assistance in the preparation of the Core Strategy Preferred Options Report and the Final Sustainability Appraisal Report.
