During February and March 2006 a period of consultation took place on the first stage of preparing Development Plan Document Number 3 through the Issues and Options Paper. The consultation period closed at 12 noon on Monday 20 March 2006. As part of the Sustainability Appraisal process for Development Plan Document Number 3 in November 2005 a Scoping Report was published and consulted upon. To view further information about the Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report for the Development Plan Document Number 3 please click here

Following the Scoping Report consultation stage the Sustainability Appraisal Commentary was prepared to assess Development Plan Document Number 3 in terms of sustainable development. The consultation period for making comments on the Sustainability Appraisal Commentary closed at 12 noon on Monday 20 March 2006.
