During May and June 2006 a period of consultation took place on the first stage of preparing Development Plan Document Number 4 through the Issues and Options Paper. As part of the Sustainability Appraisal process for Development Plan Document Number 4 in February and March 2006 a Scoping Report was published and consulted upon. Following the Scoping Report consultation stage the Sustainability Appraisal Commentary was prepared to assess Development Plan Document Number 4 in terms of sustainable development. The consultation period closed at 12 noon on Friday 16 June 2006.
