The County town came alive with a fantastic fun filled festival atmosphere as we celebrated the twentieth annual Stafford Festival this summer (2 to 10 July 2011).
Crowds enjoyed live music at the Raw Talent Competition in Stafford’s Market Square and Live @ The Castle music event at Stafford Castle.
There was fun for all the family at the popular Party In The Park with Mr. Bloom from BBCs Mr. Blooms Nursery, which also saw the official opening of the fantastic new Victoria Park play area.
Shoppers and visitors to the town centre enjoyed the Street Theatre Extravaganza, and the Teddies Tea Party at Izaak Walton’s Cottage was a firm family favourite.
The Stafford Festival Shakespeare Comedy Of Errors at Stafford Castle has received rave reviews and the producer is pleased to announce Romeo and Juliet as next year’s production.
We are making plans for the celebratory twenty-first Stafford Festival next summer – watch this space!
See footage of the bands performing on stage at the event on Sunday 10 July 2011, plus back-stage interviews with Ray Crowther from Stafford FM.
