The Route
When the Stafford Half Marathon was introduced in 1984 it originally started and finished at The County Showground, Weston Road and was transferred during the 1990s to it's current venue, Market Square, Stafford town centre.
Runners should assemble at the Market Square (in the street area) by 10.15am. To see details of the 2008 route or 2008 route map please click the links.

Sponsorship
A huge number of runners work hard raising money for good causes - in 2008 the event generated over £26863.60 for charities (based on information from participants surveys). If you fancy getting sponsored for your run and are looking for a charity to support, The Mayor's Charity Appeal this year supports some very worthy local causes. For more information please email jkeleghan@staffordbc.gov.uk or call 01785 619 228.
Please note that charity collections are not permitted on the race day due to health and safety and licensing issues.
