Delivering the Plan for Stafford Borough - Local Choices

The Council consulted on the 'Delivering the Plan for Stafford Borough - Local Choices' document which set out the broad strategy for future development across Stafford Borough to 2031 from November to January 2011.

The consultation was part of preparing the Stafford Borough Local Development Framework, which will replace the Stafford Borough Local Plan 2001. 

The purpose of the consultation is to help guide decisions in light of the Coalition Government's actions concerning changes to housing and planning powers including intended abolition of Regional Spatial Strategies.

The consultation closed on 12 noon on Friday 28th January 2011.

Following this consultation the Council will prepare a 'Preferred Options' document which will set out the preferred development strategy and future planning policies.
