Stafford Borough Council is a Category 1 Responder as defined in the Civil Contingincies Act 2004. Accordingly, this Council works closely with the Staffordshire Civil Contingencies Unit, emergency services, other local authorities, health authorities and various other organisations.
Under a Shared Services Agreement with Cannock Chase District Council, Cannock take the lead role in the administration of the delivery of the Borough Council’s responsibility under this Act.
The residents of the Borough area can help us to help them by using the “Your guide to dealing with the unexpected” booklet.
