Park successful in first stage of £2.5million makeover bid

The award winning Victoria Park in Stafford has been successful in the first round of bidding towards a £2.5million makeover. 

Stafford Borough Council has been awarded lottery money to carry out work towards a major restoration scheme at the town’s Victoria Park. Now the Council will get nearly £190,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop the plans.
