Work Experience is a placement with an employer and this experience can offer many benefits and opportunities. It can enhance your knowledge and understanding and prepare you for the world of work.

How to Apply for a placement

If you are interested in a placement but not sure which area would be suitable, please see above for a list of our service area’s.  For more information about individual service areas please check out our website.

When you have done your research and have decided on your placement please send your request to: Learning and Development, Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford ST16 3AQ

Alternatively you can email your request to humanresources@staffordbc.gov.uk.

Please make sure that your request letter has the following:

• Your name and address
• Your school
• Your interest
• Dates for your placement
• Chosen area

After your request has been received, it can take a little while before you get a reply so please be patient.
