Skatepark Hire

Spinoff Mobile Skatepark can be considered either as an ideal one-off event or as a test facility for a more permanent skatepark for the local youngsters.

It is a complete mobile skatepark package aimed at providing an effortless way to have a wheeled sports facility on your doorstep in various locations throughout Stafford Borough.

Open access sessions will include the equipment, transportation and supervision for the event. The kit is stored and transported in its own box trailer and can be erected ready to be skated within one hour. The equipment comes out of the trailer on rubber wheeled trolleys and when constructed sits on rubber cushions to eliminate damage to surfaces.

All the equipment conforms to the recommendations of RoSPA who were actively involved in the design of all of the ramps and jumps. The supervisory staff are fully trained in the management, supervision and safety of the participants using the skate park.

Equipment:

  • Quarter pipe - (curved ramp for dropping-in on)
  • Flatbank - (wedge shaped ramp for doing tricks on)
  • Driveway - (up and down ramp which goes in between the quarter pipe and the flatbank)
  • 2 Wedged flyoffs - (wedge shaped jump ramps)
  • 2 Transitioned flyoffs - (curved jump ramps)
  • Grind box - (sloping box with grind edges both sides)
  • Manual pad - (low box with grind edges all round)

Where can the Skatepark be situated?

An area of 30m x 20m would enable all of the various ramps and jumps to be utilised but an adequate layout could be achieved in any space down to a minimum of 20m x 15m. The surface needs to be smooth flat concrete, tarmac or a wooden surface (without holes, troughs or ridges and swept clean).
