Stafford Area Save Your Energy

Stafford Area Save Your Energy is a project set up by Sustainability Matters in Stafford Borough, a local voluntary organisation that aims to work with others to promote and achieve sustainable living in the Stafford Borough area.

The first stage of the project set up a website that brings together ways to save energy and reduce climate changing carbon emissions, local service providers and suppliers and case studies from householders who have implemented energy saving measures in the area.

The next stage is to set up a network of local energy champions to encourage and advise households in their area on energy efficiency issues.

Awards for All provided most of the funding for developing the website, and the project is supported by Stafford Borough Council's Sustainable and Healthy Communities team.
