Housing Policy Research Documents
To help prepare for the new Local Development Framework (LDF), as part of the evidence base, the Council has prepared The Housing Monitor: 'Land for New Homes' and the Urban Housing Capacity Study documents.
The Housing Monitor: Land for New Homes
The annual Housing Monitor provides an analysis of the provision of new dwellings required by the Development Plan of Stafford Borough which comprises the Staffordshire County Council and Stoke-on-Trent City Council Structure Plan (1996-2011) and the Stafford Borough Local Plan (2001). Land for New Homes identifies; the number of dwellings built so far this plan period, the number under construction and the number of dwellings which could be built by virtue of having permission. The Monitor presents an analysis of completion / build rate by year, site size, site type, location and origin. The 2007 Land for New Homes Report can be downloaded via the link below. To purchase a hard copy of the document, which contains a full listing of all sites with a valid planning consent, send a cheque made payable to Stafford Borough Council for £11.50 (+ 60 pence p&p).
