Solar PV - demonstration of equipment
Above: Solar PV demonstration held on 6 July 2010

On Tuesday 6th July there was solar photo-voltaics 'demonstration' at Derrington Village Hall.

The kit had been made specially for the evening and will subsequently be used at other places to demonstrate how PV works, and to help explain the environmental benefits and economic potential of solar PV.

With the new Feed in Tarrifs, it has become much more attractive investment.

We hope to install PV on Derrington Village Hall shortly, as part of our continued efforts to become a low carbon, more sustainable community".

Meet at 6.00 pm at the Red Lion car park, Derrington.

Cows Come Home to Help Nature Reserve
A herd of rare cows is coming home to continue its work helping to care for Barlaston and Rough Close Common Local Nature Reserve.
