Stafford Half Marathon

CONGRATULATIONS to eveyone who took part in the silver anniversary event on Sunday 15 March!

The first Stafford Half Marathon took place in 1984 and 2009 saw the event celebrate it's 25th anniversary! To mark the occasion and meet the ever-increasing demand for places we extended our race capacity to 2,000 participants.

		The provisional date for the next Stafford Half Marathon is Sunday 21 March 2010. We aim to open entries in November 2009. Please can all spare Chip Timing Tags for the 2009 event be returned to: Tag Return \| HS Sports Ltd \| Unit 5 \| Radnor Park Industrial Estate \| Congleton \| Cheshire \| CW12 4XN All entrants must be aged 17 years or over. This event is run under the UK Athletics rules.

		The Route For 2009 there will be a revised route to accomodate the increase in runners to celebrate the 25th anniversary race. The start area has been moved to Stafford Street and the town centre loop has been removed. View details of the 2009 route View details of the 2009 road closures
