Sunday 15 March 2009
Congratulations to all who took part in the 2008 Stafford Half Marathon, making it the most well attended Half Marathon the town has ever seen.

The first Stafford Half Marathon took place in 1984 and 2009 sees the event celebrate it's 25th anniversary! To mark this occasion and meet the ever-increasing demand for places we are expanding our race capacity to 2,000 participants in 2009.

The Route
When the Stafford Half Marathon was introduced in 1984 it originally started and finished at The County Showground, and was transferred during the 1990s to it's current venue, Stafford town centre. For 2009 there will be a revised route, with removal of the town centre loop to open up the start area for the increased number of participants - details to be confirmed.
