Mayor launches walk The start Parkside recreation area

The Mayor launched the new walk.

Everyone set off in glorious sunshine.

We were soon into green spaces.

The 'Isabel Trail' is good for walking and cycling.

Astonfields - Phragmites reed bed Holmcroft Fields Sitting on grass at the end of the walk

Astonfields Balancing Lakes - a large expanse of 'Phragmites' Reed bed is very special.

Stafford's open spaces are important too.


After the walk it's time for a sit down!

Parkside Primary School provided refreshments for all.

All age groups can enjoy Doorstep Walks.

Even the dogs needed a rest!
