The Walk was launched by the new Mayor.
|
The weather was glorious again.
|
Local countryside was soon reached.

We strolled through woodland as well.

And down Hazelstrine Lane.

The Mayor and Cllr. Barber came along too.

Much of the Walk follows the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.

There are views over Radford Meadows all the way to Stafford Castle.

The route is good for dog walking!

Over 50 people came along on the Walk.
|
There were Walk Leaders to guide everyone.
|
David planned the route and led the way.

The canal is beautiful at this time of year.
|
The Walk leaves the canal and goes up to Walton-on-the-Hill.
|
Refreshment were served back at Barnfields Primary School.
