Certificates and Notices
Agricultural and ownership certificates must be completed and signed for ALL planning applications. These are an essential and integral part of every planning application. There are four different types of ownership certificate (A,B,C & D). One must be completed for an application to be validated. The applicant must state what interest they have in the land, and verify if the land is part of an agricultural holding or not. If they are not the owner, they must also serve a notice 1 on the owner of the land. Even if the application is for a domestic extension, it must have a completed agricultural certificate for it to be a valid application.
