National Land Information Service

Stafford Borough Land Charges is signed up to the National Land and Information Service - NLIS.  This electronic delivery service for searches is designed to shorten the search process for customers.  We are working on upgrades and new processing systems to increase the internal automation across the authority, to improve the reliability and speed of responses still further.

National Land and Information Service - NLIS is a joined-up government initiative and automated process of local land charge searches [LLC1,CON29]

Full benefits of this initiative can be realised once users are also electronically linked to NLIS.  There are three NLIS licensed Channels for customers to link to, which enables communication to us over the Internet.  They are:
