We may be able to help owners of empty properties undertake repairs and improvements to the property.
A grant of up to 50% of the cost of work needed to bring a property up to the decent home standard will be available to assist owners of an empty property. On completion of the work the property will need to;
· Meet the decent home standard.
· Not be let, or sublet, as a house in multiple occupation.
· Be registered with any Accreditation Scheme supported by the Council.
(Currently the North Staffordshire Accreditation Scheme)
The maximum grant will be £5,000.
