Landlord grants
A grant of up to 50% of the cost of work needed to bring a property up to the decent home standard.
On completion of the work the property will be free of category 1 Hazards. Grant assistance will not
be provided to meet any costs associated with removing category 1 Hazards from a property.
The maximum amount of grant will be £2000.
On completion of the work the dwelling/s will be available for letting on an assured short hold tenancy for a minimum period of 2 years from the certified date of completion.
Applicants must be registered with any Accreditation Scheme supported by Stafford Borough Council. (Currently the North Staffordshire Accreditation Scheme)
