Rail card
Transportation/Mobility
From 1st April 2006, the law regarding concessionary travel passes, or bus passes, has been changed. Now everyone, men and women, over the age of 60 is entitled to receive a pass from their local Council which provides for free travel on local bus services and the pass has to be issued without any charge.
A Senior Railcard is offered as an alternative, and should you wish to take this option, you are agreeing to opt out of the Advantage Free Fare Pass Scheme for a period of twelve months. Once this concession has been issued, no exchange can be made until the expiry of the Railcard.
