What waste can I dispose of at the Household Waste Recycling Centres?

  2. Paper
  3. Food and Drink Cans
  4. Plastic Bottles
  5. Cartons (e.g., Tetrapak)
  6. Cardboard
  7. Textiles
  8. Telephone Directories
  9. Household Batteries
  10. Flourescent Tubes/Low Energy Bulbs 
  11. Fridges, Freezers, Washing Machines and Televisions
  12. All types of Furniture and Carpets
  13. Paint
  14. Gas Bottles (Not at Stone)
  15. Garden Waste e.g.  Hedge trimmings or large branches that cannot be composted
  16. Sand, Rubble and Bricks (from small DIY jobs)
  17. Wood
  18. Scrap Metal, Oil and Car Batteries
  19. Household and Garden Chemicals
  20. Tyres
  21. Asbestos - small quantities only and double bagged.  Report to a member of site staff before disposal. (Not Trade Waste)
