Core Strategy Development Plan Document - Preferred Options Report (Pre-submission Public Participation)

During June and July 2005 a period of consultation took place on the second stage of preparing the Core Strategy Development Plan Document through the Preferred Options Report. As part of the Sustainability Appraisal process for the Core Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD) in November 2004 a Scoping Report was published and consulted upon followed by the Initial Sustainability Appraisal Report in January 2005. To view further information about the Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report for the Core Strategy DPD please click here. Following the Initial Sustainability Appraisal Report consultation stage the Final Sustainability Appraisal Report was prepared to assess the Core Strategy DPD in terms of sustainable development. The consultation period for making representations on the Final Sustainability Appraisal Report closed at 12 noon on Tuesday 12 July 2005. All representations received to the Core Strategy Preferred Options Report as well as the Final Sustainability Appraisal Report for the Core Strategy were reported back to Members of the Borough Council during September 2005 for consideration and assistance in the preparation of the Core Strategy Development Plan Document Submission and the Revised Final Sustainability Appraisal Report.
