Residential Development Control Development Plan Document

All work on the Residential Development Control Development Plan Document has been suspended until further notice as a result of the Core Strategy Examination and the Inspector's Binding Report. For further information please click here.

The Residential Development Control Development Plan Document sets out the planning policy approach for housing development in Stafford Borough for at least 10 years. This Development Plan Document has been prepared to be in conformity with the Core Strategy Development Plan Document.

As part of the new planning system the Development Plan Document will pass through a series of stages in the preparation, production and adoption process. Whilst the Development Plan Document is being prepared it will be assessed in terms of sustainable development through the Sustainability Appraisal process.
