Streetscene - Service Standards

 

Emergency response (for sharps, broken glass, offensive graffiti, animal fouling, dead animals, vomit, human excrement and bodily fluids from streets, play areas and public open spaces) -

 

Reported between 08:30 and 13:00 - 3 hours upon receipt

Reported between 13:00 and 08:30 well illuminated areas - 3 hours from receipt, all other areas - by 09:00 the following day

 

Litter - between 07:00 and 20:00 hours the response times you can expect are:

Litterbins

 

·        Our aim is to ensure that no litter bin remains full for more than one working day

·        Overflowing litterbins will be emptied and the overflow of litter removed within one day of the problem being reported

·        Missing or damaged bins will be replaced or repaired within 5 working days of receiving notification

·        Provision of new litter bins/ removal of existing litter bins - within 15 working days of receipt we will respond to you and where we agree to the provision or removal this work will be carried out within twenty days of our letting you know what we will do

 

Car parks -  pot holes and other dangerous car park defects will be made safe within two working days of the problem being reported

 

Complaints - we will acknowledge all written and e-mail complaints within 5 working days of receipt and will provide a detailed response within 20 working days
