Stafford Borough Local Development Framework (LDF)

What is the Local Development Framework?

The Local Development Framework (LDF) is a folder of documents that will replace the Stafford Borough Local Plan. The LDF will help ensure the Borough is developed in the right way.

LDF Consultation

The Plan for Stafford Borough (Core Strategy)

The Plan for Stafford Borough currently in the process of being prepared, will form a key part of the LDF for Stafford Borough.

It will contain a vision and strategic objectives for the Borough as well as Core Policies that will set the basis for directing change in the Borough for the next 20 years.

Eventually the LDF will comprise of a series of Development Plan Documents (DPDs) and Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs). All of these will need to be consistent, in their policies and proposals, with The Plan for Stafford Borough.
