Southern Staffordshire Partnership

Southern Staffordshire represents a substantial land area and has a population of over 590,000, around 12% of the region. In population terms it is bigger that any of the other Shires and twice the size of any metropolitan area except Birmingham.

Stafford Borough Council is a member of the Southern Staffordshire Partnership, a partnership which brings together the private sector, local authorities, the education sector, business support agencies and the voluntary sector to promote the economic regeneration of the Southern Staffordshire area.

The Partnership covers the six districts of Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, South Staffordshire, Stafford, and Tamworth.
