Comprehensive Performance Assessment - Peer Assessment Submission
The attached submission of evidence has now been put forward to the team of assessors, from the West Midlands Local Government Association, who will be assessing the Council between now and mid-October. This Peer Assessment will be a crucial preliminary stage in the preparations for our full CPA inspection, which will take place in December. The Peer Review Team will ask to see a few employees of the Council but we will not know who until September. Those of us who are invited for interview will be given more detailed guidance nearer the time.
For the moment, I invite you to read the Council's submission. Inevitably, it does not cover everything which we do and indeed the content has been dictated largely by 'lines of enquiry' which have been externally set for us. However, I hope you will agree that it provides a fair summary of the Council's past track record and future ambition.
