Access to Work

Employers are aware that having a disability does not mean an individual cannot carry out their job effectively.  However, on some occasions there may be practical issues to take into consideration.

Access to Work is, a Department of Work and Pensions scheme available to help overcome these issues, when recruiting a new member of staff.  It offers practical advice, and help in a flexible manner that can be tailored to suit the needs of an individual in a particular job.
