Proposed Sustainable Community Strategy for Stafford Borough
The Borough Council together with the Local Strategic Partnership for the area have jointly agreed a draft Sustainable Community Plan for consultation purposes a copy of which is attached for your information and comment.

The Strategy takes into account the needs and aspirations of the community with particular reference to the 35 targets contained within the Local Area Agreement for Staffordshire and the Sustainable Development Action Plan for the area.
The overall vision of the Strategy is to improve the quality of life for the community by making the Borough a safer, healthier, cleaner and more sustainable place for all to live, learn, work and invest in.
There are 4 key aims for the plan, which are: -
- Promote economy and sustainable development
- Promote community safety
- Improve outcomes for children and young people
- Promote health and wellbeing
