    Q. How we use your personal information

    A. The information that you have provided will be used by Stafford Borough Council, who are the data controller, to allow us to administer your parking permit. We will only share your information, when necessary, with our internal customer services departments for processing parking permits and facilitating payments and refunds and where the law requires or allows us to do so.   For further information, please see www.staffordbc.gov.uk/PrivacyNotice.

    Q. Can I use it on short stay car parks?

    A. No, Band B Season Tickets are only valid on Doxey Road Long Stay, Gaol Road and North Walls car parks only.

    Q. Can I use on Stafford car parks?

    A. No.

    Q. How long do they last?

    A. You can purchase them to run for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

    Q. What if I want to purchase more than one ticket?

    A. Email us at carparking@staffordbc.gov.uk or dial 01785 619000 between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday or 8.30am and 4.30pm Friday and press option 6 for parking.

    Q. Can I have more than one registration number?

    A. Yes, you can apply to have up to two registration numbers on the same virtual permit.  Only one vehicle is allowed to park at any given time. If both vehicles need to park at the same time one of the vehicles will need to pay or the duration of their stay.

    Q. Where do I display the ticket?

    A. Permits are now virtual, no paper permits will be sent out as of 1 June 2020.

    Q. Are there any rules we must abide by?

    A. Yes, the season ticket holder is subject to the current Stafford Borough Council off street parking places order (which is available for inspection at the civic centre) and you must comply with the car park regulations as stated on the signs situated by the pay and display machines.

    Q. What happens if I change my vehicle?

    A. If you change your vehicle you will need to have your virtual permit updated. To do this, please call us on 01785 619000 and select option 6 for parking. Changes take 1 working day to process and a £12 admin fee will apply.

    Q. Will you send a reminder?

    A. Yes, a reminder will be sent to you prior to your ticket expiry date, if you purchased a 3, 6 or 12 month ticket.

    Q. Am I guaranteed a parking space?

    A. No, The issue of a season ticket does not guarantee or reserve a parking space.

    Q. What if I want to cancel my season ticket before its expiry date?

    A. The Council will consider issuing refunds for the remaining complete months on 6 and 12 month season tickets ONLY, subject to there being at least 2 complete months remaining minus a £12 administration fee.
