Voted Best Staffordshire Music Festival 2019 and 2020 by What's On readers and Special Recognition Award for Festival of the Year 2019 by The Mark (pub news and live music guide), STAFFS FEST a popular annual music festival that has already made its mark on the UK music scene in the West Midlands attracting local, regional and national musicians and audiences from all over the UK.
The festival which celebrates its fourth year in 2021 is held at Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge near Stafford ST19 5RE, Junction 13 on the M6.
The festival has expanded over the last three years, now has several huge marquees hosting a multitude of genres of music, Rock, Britpop, Glam Rock, Pop, Folk, Reggae, Gospel, World Music and Soul. Northern Soul All Dayer with DJs playing vinyl only on the Saturday in the Millie Bea Marquee with specially made wooden floor.
The festival is not one dimensional, in addition to the wide ranging live music on offer, there will be displays and workshops from local community groups including, Balliamo Belly Dancers, Dance Nuvo, Bhangra Blaze and Stafford Salsa plus drumming workshops, dance and guitar workshops. There will be a range of food and drink vendors and retail stalls, clothing and ethnic outlets. A true family orientated festival where children under 16 are free with accompanying responsible adult (their tickets must be requested at the same time as paying adult). Workshops and child friendly activities planned during the mornings and afternoons.
Evening only tickets £15, day/evening ticket £25, weekend ticket £50 Gates open Friday 17 September at 4pm and music starts at 5pm, 10.30am on Saturday 18 and 12 noon on Sunday 19 September, amplified music finishes at 11pm each night, bar is open until 12.30am.
