Words for Wellbeing With Mel Wardle Woodend Staffordshire Poet Laureate (MA Creative Writing, PG Certificate in Professional Studies in Education, Member of the National Association of Writers in Education).
Six online poetry workshops that can be taken as a set or standalone sessions to explore the way that writing creatively through the medium of poetry can allow us to express our feelings and communicate our thoughts through a creative and therapeutic outlet.
We will discover or refresh a variety of poetic devices and techniques to help us paint vivid pictures with our words, and communicate effectively through our writing, and hear a range of Mel's own poetry exploring issues such as mental health, bereavement, environmental themes, and social injustice.
