
The fantastic new Holmcroft Park was formally opened by the Mayor of Stafford Borough, Councillor Tony Nixon on 31 July 2021.
Thank you to those who have given us feedback on the new facilities.
Stafford Borough Council has spent £435,000 to enhance the recreational facilities in the Holmcroft Area with works commencing in November 2020 and completed in April 2021.

The new facilities include:
- Younger Children’s Play Area
- Wheeled Sports Facility
- Older Children’s play facility
- Outdoor Gym
- Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) with tennis knockabout area and Netball shooting circle
- Circular Pathway incorporating extended tarmac path connecting Woodland Road to Holmcroft Road and new pathways on the tree line to create a pleasant walk with distance markers.
- New benches, bins, sign and fingerposts throughout the site
- New site entrances
