The Conservative group holds the most seats on Stafford Borough Council following the local elections.
Thirty eight of the 40 seats on the Borough Council were up for grabs on Thursday 2 May. The counting of the votes took place the next day (Friday 3 May.)
It means the council is now made up of 22 Conservatives, 10 Labour, seven Independent and one Green councillor.
