The Farmers’ Market in Stone will return to the town’s High Street this Saturday (1 May).
Stafford Borough Council say measures will be in place to ensure the market adheres to Government Covid-19 guidelines including signage to remind people about social distancing and track and trace QR codes.
The popular market usually takes place on the first Saturday of each month. But it will be a first for the market in 2021 – with events previously earmarked this year being cancelled to help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
Robert Simpson, Head of Operations at the Borough Council, said: “We are very pleased that the Farmers’ Markets will be returning to the area this weekend. Measures will be in place to help make the market safe for our stallholders and visitors.”
The Farmers’ Market for Stafford will return on the following Saturday (8 May.)
