Shoppers will be able to park for free in Stafford town centre this Saturday afternoon.
The traditional free parking offer aims to encourage more people to shop in town centres to boost trade for local businesses over the festive season.
Parking charges have been waived for Stafford Borough Council car parks from 1pm this Saturday (19 December.) The free parking period applies to all borough council run car parks in the town centre - except the Riverside and Waterfront car parks.
The same free parking offer took place last Saturday (12th) – and early feedback suggested Stafford had a busier trading day, with the popular Farmers’ Market in the centre of the county town also providing a draw for shoppers.
