The Indoor Market in Stafford is due to open its doors next week for the first time this year.
The popular market has been shut because of Covid-19 restrictions but as part of the roadmap for the easing of lockdown it will be reopening at 9am on Tuesday 13 April with Covid-19 safety measures in place.
Around 20 traders having been working alongside Stafford Borough Council staff in the market this week to prepare for the return and stalls are being set up to ensure everything is ready for Tuesday.
The market will be open between 9am and 4pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 13 April. The indoor ‘Chef’s Café’ is expected to open in line with Government hospitality guidelines next month.
