A record-breaking turnout made the 2025 Stafford 10K an unforgettable celebration with nearly 1900 runners taking part.
The glorious sunshine encouraged spectators to line the route as they cheered on 1,895 athletes - a ten percent increase on last year.
The race on Sunday (21 September) was organised by Freedom Leisure in partnership with Stafford Borough Council with many runners raising thousands of pounds in sponsorship for charities.
The ten-kilometre route once again highlighted the very best of the county town as it passes some of Stafford’s iconic landmarks.
Race Director Ross Stephenson praised the atmosphere and passion on display: “The energy this year was incredible. The sunshine brought out the best in everyone, from the runners to the volunteers and spectators. It’s a real testament to the spirit of Stafford and the power of community.”
