Collectors Licence (including motor salvage dealers)

You must:

• have a licence for every Council district you work in
• display your licence in your vehicles
• keep records of metal received and disposed of
• keep copies of all payment
• keep details of the supplier of the scrap metal

You must not:

• use cash to buy scrap metal

Site Licence

You must:

• display your licence where the pubic can see it on your site
• keep details of the supplier of the scrap metal
• keep copies of payment
