In the event of Doxey Road Long stay car park being closed due to flooding (No 13A on the map) paying customers can park in the Doxey Road short stay car park (No 11A on the map). During this time permit holders can park on the adjacent short stay free of charge, as can paying customers using our PaybyPhone service, location code 59637.

This is an emergency measure during poor weather conditions and will be reviewed on a daily basis and is subject to change.

If you are planning to leave your car for a prolonged period please check the weather conditions beforehand as flooding can escalate quickly in this area.

This arrangement does not include the car park directly outside the front of Sainsbury’s (No 11 on the map) which will remain a short stay only car park.
