Keeping the borough clean costs local tax payers around £1 million every year and now the Council is to use enforcement powers to tackle crimes such as littering, fly tipping and graffiti.

The Streetscene team have a number of different street sweeping vehicles that are used on the borough's roads.

Please help us by reporting animal problems, including fouling or stray animals.

Parking control used to be the responsibility of the police, now local Councils have got together to keep the streets clear with new powers from Parliament.
