We aim to support local businesses and individuals as much as possible. Below are some of the financial schemes on offer.
Funding for Specialist Assistance - Grants of up to £5,400 for specialist advice to businesses in all aspects of new product design & development.
Rural Enterprise Programme - Capital grants for small to medium sized businesses to help them refurbish existing under-utilised buildings or construct new commercial premises to create productive workspace
Staffordshire Business Loan Fund - loans for small businesses who have had difficulty accessing finance.
Staffordshire LEADER Programme - Funding for businesses, farms and communities across rural Staffordshire to help improve the local economy.
Start Up Loans Programme - a Government funded scheme providing business start up support in the form of a repayable loan together with a business mentor for entrepreneurs across England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
Stafford Town Centre Business Rate Relief Scheme - a discretionary business rate relief scheme, to help promote the occupation of empty retail units in specific parts of Stafford Town Centre. Through this scheme for a 12 month period, eligible businesses wanting to locate into specific streets in the north of Stafford Town Centre, can claim 100% discount on their business rates up to a maximum of £10,000 whichever is the lowest.
Small Grants Scheme - small organisations can bid for between £200 and £1,000 to benefit their group
Small Business Grant Scheme – offers capital grants ranging from £1,500 to £10,000 (up to 53% of eligible costs whichever is the least) to eligible businesses.
