Improvements to a pathway around a popular playground in Stone will be taking place next month.

There will be a temporary entrance to access the play area at the town’s Westbridge Park while the work is carried out from Monday (8 June).

The work has been timed to take place after the Whitsun break, and before the school summer holidays, and is expected to take up to four weeks.

Fencing will be erected around the site with a small section of play equipment out of action until the improvements are completed.

There will be temporary access to the play area off Stafford Road - and this will be signposted. Stafford Borough Council will be installing portable public loos on site while the main toilets are unavailable due to the work.
