£49,000 has been allocated to upgrade the site.

Barnes Road is a small play park in Highfields and Western Downs with additional green space attached. The site is a well-used space catering for younger children due to the proximity of Rowley Park.

It forms a well-used recreational network including six other play parks within the ward which is well served by a high population of under 16s.
