Payment Service Disruption - Sunday 1 November 2026

On 1 November 2026 we will be making changes to improve our payment service. While we do this you may experience trouble making payments online or by telephone.

If you need to make an important payment by 1 November please try to do so before that date.

Building Control

Stafford Borough Council and Cannock Chase Council have a shared service arrangement for Building Control.

Cheques for Building Control related fees must be made payable to Cannock Chase Council.

Invoices for inspection fees are sent from Cannock Chase Council. 

All applications and correspondence should be sent to Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ.
