Stafford Borough Council (SBC) Partnership is seeking to engage a suitably experienced consultants to advise the council on the effective, robust and viable delivery and future implementation of a range of infrastructure. Advice will not comprise the authoring of the technical reports or infrastructure studies themselves, but instead the consultants will support the council in developing its evidence base by acting as a critical friend throughout the preparation of that evidence relating to the proposed Meecebrook Garden Community.
This work will help to establish whether or not Meecebrook Garden Community is deliverable from a strategic infrastructure perspective. It will help ensure that the new community has the necessary utilities, transport, education, high tech communication facilities to deliver a sustainable, innovative and futuristic community. Whilst it is noted that health and social infrastructure will form an important part of this, it is not intended that the consultant provide expertise in these areas.
