Season Ticket Expiry Dates
Category B, C and D Season tickets purchased prior to the 23 March 2020 when parking charges were suspended, which were still in date on the 15 June when they were reinstated, will be automatically extended by the amount of days lost between that period up a maximum of 3 months.
Category B, C and D Season tickets purchased prior to the 23 March 2020 when parking charges were suspended, which also expired prior to the 15 June 2020 when they were reinstated, can be extended by the amount of days lost during that period. These reclaimed days must start from 15 June. To do this please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your permit or registration number.
Category A (Waterfront car park) season tickets will automatically have any days lost between 23 March 2020 and 15 June 2020 added back on, up to a maximum of 3 months.
Category B, C and D Season tickets are now virtual, paper permits will no longer be posted to our customers. We will continue posting reminder letters to holders of 3, 6 and 12 month Season Tickets for now, but we hope to introduce text alerts in the near future.

Q. How quickly can I get one?
A. We require 14 days notice to process your applications. Your permit will begin on the 1st or 15th day of the month; whichever is closest once we’ve processed your application. Therefore, please ensure that you apply for your season ticket a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 27 days before you need to use it.
Q. Can I use it on short stay car parks?
A. No, Band D Season Tickets are only valid on Christchurch Way car park.
Q. Can I use on Stafford car parks?

A. You can purchase them to run for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

Q. Can I have more than one registration number?
A. Yes, you can apply to have up to two registration numbers on the same virtual permit. Only one vehicle is allowed to park at any given time. If both vehicles need to park at the same time one of the vehicles will need to pay or the duration of their stay.

Q. Where do I display the ticket?
A. Permits are now virtual, no paper permits will be sent out as of 1 June 2020.
Q. Are there any rules we must abide by?
A. Yes, the season ticket holder is subject to the current Stafford Borough Council off street parking places order (which is available for inspection at the Civic Centre) and you must comply with the car park regulations as stated on the signs situated by the pay and display machines.
Q. What happens if I change my vehicle?
A. If you change your vehicle you will need to have the virtual permit updated. To do this, please email your details to email@example.com. A £12 admin fee will apply.
Q. Will you send a reminder?
A. Yes, a reminder will be sent to you prior to your ticket expiry date, if you purchased a 3, 6 or 12 month ticket.
Q. Am I guaranteed a parking space?
A. No, The issue of a season ticket does not guarantee or reserve a parking space.
Q. What if I want to cancel my season ticket before its expiry date?
A. The Council will consider issuing refunds for the remaining complete months on 6 and 12 month season tickets only, subject to there being at least 2 complete months remaining minus a £12 administration fee.
