Season Ticket Expiry Dates
Category B, C and D Season tickets purchased prior to the 23 March 2020 when parking charges were suspended, which were still in date on the 15 June when they were reinstated, will be automatically extended by the amount of days lost between that period up a maximum of 3 months.
Category B, C and D Season tickets purchased prior to the 23 March 2020 when parking charges were suspended, which also expired prior to the 15 June 2020 when they were reinstated, can be extended by the amount of days lost during that period. These reclaimed days must start from 15 June. To do this please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your permit or registration number.
Category A (Waterfront car park) season tickets will automatically have any days lost between 23 March 2020 and 15 June 2020 added back on, up to a maximum of 3 months.
Category B, C and D Season tickets are now virtual, paper permits will no longer be posted to our customers. We will continue posting reminder letters to holders of 3, 6 and 12 month Season Tickets for now, but we hope to introduce text alerts in the near future.
Q. How we use your personal information
A. The information that you have provided will be used by Stafford Borough Council, who are the data controller, to allow us to administer your parking permit. We will only share your information, when necessary, with our internal customer services departments for processing parking permits and facilitating payments and refunds and where the law requires or allows us to do so. Q. Where can I use them?

Q. How quickly can I get one?
A. 14 days’ notice is required for processing applications. Permits will commence on the 1st or 15th day of the month; whichever is closest after that period.
Therefore, please ensure that you make your application a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 27 days before you need to use your permit.
Q. Can I use it on short stay car parks?
A. No, variable stay only.
Q. How long do they last?
A. You can purchase them to run for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

Q. Can I apply by phone?
A. Yes, dial 01785 619000 between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday or 8.30am and 4.30pm Friday and press option 6 for parking.
You must be able to pay by credit or debit card.
The Offices will be closed bank holidays and between Christmas and the New Year.
Q. Can I have more than one registration number?
A. Yes, you can apply to have up to two registration numbers on the same season ticket. Season ticket must be displayed when in use.
Q. I want my ticket to start later in the year

Q. Where do I display the ticket?
A. Please ensure you attach the ticket to the inside of the front windscreen, in a prominent position so that the reference number and expiry date can be clearly seen from the outside of the vehicle.
Q. Are there any rules we must abide by?
A. Yes, the season ticket holder is subject to the current Stafford Borough Council off street parking places order (which is available for inspection at the civic centre) and you must comply with the car park regulations as stated on the signs situated by the pay and display machines.
Q. What happens if I change my vehicle?
A. If you change your vehicle you will need to have the ticket amended; please email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org a new season ticket will be issued upon receipt of your old one for an administration fee of £12.
Q. Will you send a reminder?
A. Yes, a reminder will be sent to you prior to your ticket expiry date, if you purchased a 3, 6 or 12 month ticket.
Q. What will happen if I do not display my ticket?
A. Any vehicle not adhering to the car park regulations and terms and conditions of use of the season ticket will be liable to a penalty charge notice of £50 or £70 dependent on the contravention.
Q. Are season tickets interchangeable?
A. No, Season tickets are not interchangeable between vehicles unless you have nominated two registration numbers.
Q. What happens if I lose my ticket?
A. Lost season tickets with a single registration will be replaced at the discretion of the Council for a fee of £12. Tickets with 2 registration numbers thereon will not be replaced.
Q. Am I guaranteed a parking space?
A. No, The issue of a season ticket does not guarantee or reserve a parking space.
Q. What if I want to cancel my season ticket before its expiry date?
A. The Council will consider issuing refunds for the remaining complete months on 6 and 12 month season tickets ONLY, subject to there being at least 2 complete months remaining. Your season ticket will be cancelled once we have received it and a £12 administration fee will be charged.
